the bitterness and the gall.
I remember them, & my soul is downcast within me.
Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:
Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.

I woke up Monday morning with texting on my phone,
People from other places, knowing what I didn’t know.
So I turned on the TV, it was all over the news.
A tragedy in Vegas, a memory we would never choose.
God help us to understand the pain we feel inside,
In a few brief moments so many stolen lives.
We lift up our prayers to you and we cry so many tears.
We need more of Jesus to face the coming years.
2017, October 1, at night the time was 10,
Route 91 Harvest - enjoying music with a friend.
A wife takes one last breath in her husband’s arms,
One evil act can’t take away each act of her sweet charms.
God help us to understand the pain we feel inside,
In a few brief moments so many stolen lives.
We lift up our prayers to you and we cry so many tears.
We need more of Jesus to face the coming years.
First responders everywhere, running into the dark.
We thank God for bravery and the many who left their mark.
Laying one's life down for friends, the only way to live.
You tell us it's an act of love, the greatest your Son could give.
God help us to understand the pain we feel inside,
In a few brief moments so many stolen lives.
We lift up our prayers to you and we cry so many tears.
We need more of Jesus to face the coming years.
The story of your life doesn’t end just because you’re gone.
Who you were and what you’ve done, your memory will carry on.
We will cry on your birthday but we will one day laugh again.
You have been my hero, my family and my friend.
God help us to understand the pain we feel inside,
